Georgia man accused in Ulster knife assault

LAKE KATRINE – A Covington, Georgia man was arrested by Ulster Town Police on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Christopher Roberson, 34, allegedly slashed another man in the head with a knife during an altercation on Frank Sottile Boulevard just before 3 a.m. on June 7.
The victim was transported to HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Kingston Campus where he was treated and released.
Roberson was placed in the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail pending further court action.
The Ulster Police Department was assisted by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, State Police, Ulster Hose Fire Department and Mobile Life Support Services.
