GOSHEN – A Greenville woman is charged with failing to register as a sex offender after moving from Westchester to Orange.
Heather Madison, 30, is a level two violent sexual offender, who failed to register online with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in accordance with her responsibilities as a sexual offender.
She was convicted in 2004 of sexual abuse in the first degree in Westchester County.
Following this latest arrest, Madison was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.
Sheriff Carl DuBois said the investigation into Madison’s conduct is continuing and anyone with information regarding her on- or offline activity is asked to contact the sheriff’s office Investigations Division at 845-291-7930.
