Man accused of damaging Good Sam hospital security device

SUFFERN – A Brooklyn man was arrested by Suffern Village Police and charged with felony criminal mischief after they were called to Good Samaritan Hospital for a report of an unruly man causing a disturbance.
When they arrived, they learned a 54-year-old man, whose name they did not make public, had damaged a security device valued at over $1,500.
After the suspect was taken into custody, it was determined he had several prior arrests and convictions including for assault, petit larceny and criminal trespass.  He was sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of bail.
