Del Vecchio: “I want to
stay here”

MIDDLETOWN – The Hoboken International Film Festival, currently running this week in its fourth year in Middletown, is up for contract renewal.
It is unclear as to its future in the Orange County city, but as far as festival founder Kenneth Del Vecchio sees it, he would like to stay put.
“I want to stay here,” he said. “It is my goal to stay here. The City of Middletown has told me they want the film festival to stay here, so we all seem to be on the same page. It’s just a matter of inking the new deal, but we will see what happens. Hopefully that will occur.”
Del Vecchio said he will not go into details of the negotiations until
after the festival has concluded late this week.
The festival, in its 11th year, runs through Thursday at the Paramount Theater.
