NYC man arrested for Hyde Park bank robbery

POUGHKEEPSIE – A New York City man is in the Dutchess County Jail, charged with felony robbery following a hold up at the Chase Bank branch at 4277 Albany Post Road in Hyde Park shortly after 11 a.m. on May 27.
During the robbery, the suspect had his hand in his pocket suggesting he was armed.
Daquan Bryan, 28, was arrested on Barclay Street in the City of Poughkeepsie and is being held in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
Video evidence from local business and homeowners in the area helped identify the getaway vehicle. On Wednesday, the car was spotted on Route 9G in Hyde Park. It was stopped and the female operator was identified. The following day, she was brought to the Hyde Park Police Department for questioning and investigation led police to identify Bryan, who was picked up in the City of Poughkeepsie.
The joint investigation was conducted by Police in Hyde Park, Town and City of Poughkeepsie Police; State Police Uniformed, K-9, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Major Crimes Unit, Computer Crimes Unit and Forensic Investigation Unit; and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
