Two New York City men caught after breaking into Poughkeepsie residence

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Two men from Queens are under arrest after
they broke into a Town of Poughkeepsie home on Fair Way.

Just before noon on June 2, a resident called town police to say someone
knocked on her door and she saw two men standing outside.

She then locked herself in her bedroom as the two men broke into the house.
As officers responded, the men fled and a K-9 unit tracked the men who
were hiding under a large tarp several hundred yards away.

They were both charged with felony burglary. Freddy-Yovanny Ruiz-Garcia,
35, an Syrus-Edwing Pena-Guerra, 36, both of Queens were remanded to the
Dutchess County Jail on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bail each.
