TOWN OF WALLKILL – A fire that fully engulfed a forklift inside the Ball metal plant on Ballard Road in the Town of Wallkill Wednesday morning brought out several fire departments.
The fire was called in around 4:20 a.m. in a building, which houses chemicals. The two-alarm blaze was declared out two hours later, but not before fire departments from Circleville, Goshen, Bloomingburg, Middletown, Coldenham, Silver Lake and Slate Hill were called to the scene.
There were no reports of injuries.
