STONY POINT – The body of a Stony Point man was recovered from Cedar Creek in the town on Saturday.
Town Police identified the victim as Nicholas Cohen, 25, and said his death did not appear to be suspicious. The investigation is continuing. The Rockland County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an examination to determine the cause of death.
Members of the Wayne Hose Fire Department removed the body from the water. Stony Point Police were assisted at the scene by the State Police, the Rockland Sheriff’s Office BCI, and Rockland Paramedics.
