Motorcyclist killed in crash with car

HAVERSTRAW – A Thiells man, died Wednesday evening when a car made a left turn into the path of his motorcycle.
Alberto Rivera, 44, was westbound on Route 202 in the Town of Haverstraw when an eastbound car driven by Jonathan Kaufman, 47, of Monsey, made a left turn onto Thiells Mount Ivy Road into the path of the motorcycle.
The bike struck the passenger side of the car, ejecting Rivera, who later died at Nyack Hospital.
