WHITE PLAINS – A White Plains man was arraigned Wednesday on charges
relating to him being the getaway driver in a murder in that city on April
17.

Shortly before 11:30 a.m. on that Sunday, Michael Djukic drove with co-defendant
Aaron George to the area of 91 North Kensico Avenue in White Plains. Once
there, George got out of the vehicle, approached the victim, Dominique
Hospie, fired a gun at him several times, shooting him in the hand and
back.

George then ran back to the car and the two took off.

Hospie was taken to Westchester Medical Center where he died in surgery.

Bail for Djukic was set at $200,000. If convicted, he could face 3 ½
to 15 years in state prison.

George, 21, also of White Plains, will be arraigned on his indictment
on Friday.
