Tompkins Building
MIDDLETOWN – An Atlanta antiques wholesaler and auction company is apparently ready to purchase the former Tompkins Building on North Street in Middletown.
Mayor Joseph DeStefano said the city is nearing completion of negotiations to sell the 20,000 square foot building to the company.
“We have crossed the preliminary subdividing the property and getting access to the back for loading and all we have to do now is finalize the contracts,” he said.
DeStefano said he would release the name of the company once the agreement has been signed.
