BEDFORD – A Ballston Spa man, who is a former corrections officer
at Taconic Correctional Facility in Bedford,a women’s prison, is
charged with official misconduct for allegedly having inappropriate relationships
with two female inmates at the prison.
Daniel Oliver, 49, was charged following a 10-month joint investigation
by the State Police along with the Department of Corrections and Community
Supervision Office of Special investigations.
Oliver was released after posting $200 bail following his arrest on May
4.
