Two caught with drugs on Thruway

NEW BALTIMORE – Two New Jersey residents were arrested following a traffic stop on the Thruway in New Baltimore in which heroin with a street value of $15,000 was seized.
A total of 320 grams of heroin, which was individually packaged into 1,300 usages, was discovered.
Vanessa Deleon, 31, of Clifton, New Jersey, and Rafael Santos-Martinez, 40, of Paterson, New Jersey were charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. They are both in the Greene County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond each.
