POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police are investigating the shooting of a 40-year-old
man who was sustained several gunshot wounds shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday
in the area of 18 Suncrest Court in Poughkeepsie.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery.
His condition is serious, but not life threatening, police said.
The suspect is described as a “Spanish looking” man who fled
the area on foot. And area check for the suspect turned up nothing.
