KINGSTON – A Saugerties woman was arrested on felony drug charges. Members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team took Sarah Schatzel, 28, into custody following an investigation into narcotics sales in the Town of Ulster and surrounding areas.
Cocaine was purchased from Schatzel by undercover officers at a Town of Ulster location. She was charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance. During arrest processing, she was also found in possession of suboxone and was charged with misdemeanor possession as a result.
She was arraigned and released after posting $5,000 cash bail.
