New York man indicted in Ulster County on felony assault charge

KINGSTON – The Ulster County grand jury has indicted a 40-year-old
New York man on a felony assault charge for allegedly slashing a teenage
boy in the neck during a fight in the City of Kingston.
Mohammed Kabbah was among a number of people involved in a fight in
the area of Pine Grove Street and Broadway in the rear of the YMCA. The
17-year-old victim, who had been slashed in the neck, was taken to the
hospital before the police arrived.

Six days after the April 12 incident, Kabbah was arrested and charged
with felony assault and misdemeanors of criminal possession of a weapon
and endangering the welfare of a child.
