Bush High School teacher and charged her with endangering the welfare
of a child and harassment.

It is alleged that on April 7 while performing her duties as a teacher,
Marie Mannion, 62, of Circleville, struck a 15-year-old male student in
the back of the head with an open hand. Her actions occurred in a classroom
with about 24 other students present. Police said it was unprovoked and
resulted in the victim to complain of a headache.
