Memorial Day in front of
City Hall
KINGSTON – The walkways leading up to the monuments in front of Kingston City Hall have been closed temporarily because a wall connected to the viewing area has become compromised and must be repaired.
Work is underway to make all of the repairs and replace the walkway with a new level and graded flat surface that will improve access to the memorial area for public viewing and ceremonies, Mayor Steven Noble said.
Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies are held annually at the monuments in front of City Hall at 420 Broadway.
