Mosher named Central Hudson President; Laurito promoted to executive post in Fortis

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Central
Hudson, Michael Mosher of Red Hook, has been named the new president and
CEO of the Poughkeepsie-based utility, effective April 1. Current president,
James Laurito, who has held that post since 2009, has been promoted to
executive vice president of parent company Fortis, Inc. of Canada. He
lives in the Town of Fishkill.
Laurito will remain on the Board of Directors of Central Hudson.

will continue that important commitment, said Barry Perry, Fortis President
and CEO.

Central Hudson Board Chairwoman Margarita Dilley said Mosher “has
the experience, knowledge and vision to propel the utility to new heights
of accomplishment in a rapidly changing industry.”
