DOVER – Two men were arrested by State Police on felony burglary charges in connection with a break-in at a Dover home.
Police were called to a report of two suspicious men carrying bags after leaving a residence on Gobblers Knob Road. An investigation led to Stephen Franco II, 25, and Nicholas Gast, 29, who were arrested in connection with the crime. Both are in the Dutchess County Jail. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond for Franco and $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond for Gast..
Police said additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues. Anyone with information about burglaries that have occurred in the Gobblers Knob Road and Old Pawling Road area are asked to call the State Police at 845-677-7300.
