CATSKILL – An 11-year-old Medusa, NY boy was arrested in connection with a fire that was started in a bathroom at the Greenville Central School, Middle School Wing during school hours on Monday.
State Police said if the act had been committed by an adult, he would have been charged with felony attempted arson.
Troopers were contacted by school administration, which assisted in the investigation and were able to identify the potential student involved in the fire.
The boy was released to his parents and was issued a family court appearance ticket to appear at the Greene County Probation Department as a juvenile delinquent.
