Ramapo gas station robbed, attendant assaulted

MONSEY – Ramapo Police are looking for a man who robbed and assaulted a gas station attendant in Monsey just after midnight on Thursday.
The injured employee was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Police said the robber jumped the counter, attacked the worker and fled with cash. The suspect is described as a white man about five feet, seven inches tall, wearing a green hooded camouflage jacket and black ski mask. He was wearing black gloves, light blue jeans, and white sneakers.
Detectives, using a K-9 unit, searched the area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Ramapo Detective Unit.
