TOWN OF THOMPSON – A Goshen woman was killed in a two-car crash on Route 17 eastbound in the area of exit 107 in the Town of Thompson.
The crash occurred at 7:25 p.m. on Monday, March 14.
State Police said a car operated by Lori Baird, 48, of Goshen, was struck from behind by a car driven by Howard Kehlenbeck, 31, of Woodridge. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
Baird died at the scene. There is no information on whether Kehlenbeck was injured.
Police said alcohol or drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation.
