Lopez
STANFORD – State Police, state forest rangers and several volunteers from the area are continuing their search for a 68-year-old man who was reported missing from the Lakeview Chateau Community Residence on West Hunns Lake Road in the Town of Stanford.
Edward Lopez was last seen there before 5 p.m. on March 14. Authorities believe he left on foot. He has ties to the New York City area.
Lopez, who suffers from Schizophrenia and may be in need of immediate medical attention, is described as a black Hispanic man, five feet, six inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds.
Police ask anyone with sheds or unoccupied structures on their property to check inside for Lopez. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call the State Police at 845-677-7300.
