HIGHLAND – A Highland man is under arrest by Lloyd Town Police on
a charge of being a fugitive from justice from the State of Florida.
Police initially charged Willis Hengy, 31, with misdemeanor criminal possession
of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
A computer check determined he was also wanted by Florida authorities
on narcotics charges.
Hengy was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail
or $100,000 bond.
