HOLMES – Police released the identity of the man killed in a house fire on the evening of February 27 on North White Rock Road in the Town of Beekman.
Steven Schweizer, 66, was found dead inside the residence once the fire was extinguished.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
When the blaze broke out, the homeowner ran to a neighbor to report it and when she returned home, her boyfriend, Schweizer, was unaccounted for. His body was later located by firefighters.
