KINGSTON – Three men have been indicted in connection with the
January 7 home invasion armed robbery of a residence on Backman Avenue
in Ellenville.
The Ulster County District Attorney’s Office said Nickolas Torres,
22, of Ellenville, Davonte Jones, 19, of Kingston, and Lonnie Taylor,
34, of Ellenville were each charged with two counts of burglary, 11 counts
of robbery, three counts of criminal use of a firearm, assault and four
counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The three men allegedly held a man, woman and four children hostage in
their home, beating the man and threatening the others before they fled.
