MONTICELLO – An October 12, 2015 shooting death in the Town of Bethel
has been ruled a homicide and four people have been charged with murder
and robbery.
Michael Northcote, 34, was found dead in a residence on Cohen and Cohen
Road.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office investigated and on February
16 arrested four individuals identified as Deanna Duncan, 47, of Liberty,
Jeffrey Herring, 26, of South Fallsburg, and William Lewis, 44, and Mark
Mack, 25, both of Monticello.
They were all arraigned and remanded t the Sullivan County Jail without
bail.
The sheriff’s office was assisted in the arrest by the Sullivan
County District Attorney, FBI Safe Streets Task Force, State Police, Village
of Liberty and Monticello Police and Town of Fallsburg Police.
