ALBANY – Six SUNY community colleges in the Mid-Hudson Region will integrate career centers and departments of continuing education and workforce development using a $204,000 state education department grant.
The Hudson Valley Educational Consortium, led by Rockland Community College and comprised of Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester, will also enhance coordination with workforce partners.
The educational consortium will use the funds to address the current and emerging gaps between regional workforce needs and the pipeline of graduates to fill those needs.
