PORT JERVIS – While the Middletown Enlarged City School District has received over a dozen bogus threats of violence, stories have been circulated in the Port Jervis City School District of a possible threat.
The school district issued a statement Wednesday night saying Superintendent Thomas Bongiovi and the Port Jervis City Police Department have conducted a thorough investigation related to those stories.
“It has been determined that there is no credibility to those claims,” the district statement said.
“Port Jervis School District is dedicated to providing a safe learning environment for all students and staff,” officials said.
