Kingston man sentenced for raping minor

KINGSTON – A Kingston man was sentenced to five years in state prison and 10 years of post-release supervision for his conviction of rape in connection with the sexual assault on a 14 year old victim.
Durwin Ennist, also known as “Charms,” of 380 Boulevard in Kingston, will be required to register as a sex offender for at least 20 years and a full “stay away” order of protection was issued for the victim until 2039. Ennist was also ordered to pay $1,425 in court fees.
The case stems from an incident when Ennist had sex with the victim at
121 Clinton Avenue in the City of Kingston in the early morning hours
of January 1, 2015.
