Kingston man indicted in knife assault

KINGSTON – An Ulster County grand jury indicted a Kingston man in connection with a stabbing last month.
Scott Bain, 57, of 173 ½ TenBroeck Avenue was charged with felony first-degree assault for allegedly stabbing a 43-year-old man several times.  At the time of the investigation Kingston City Police said the assault resulted from a dispute with the victim over living arrangements.
The man sustained several wounds to his body and head and was listed in stable condition at Albany Medical Center, police said at the time.
