Small fire fills Wappingers McDonalds with smoke

WAPPINGERS FALLS – Wappinger’s Falls Fire Dept along with New Hamburg’s FAST & Mobile Life responded for smoke filling the McDonalds Restaurant at 1567 Route 9 late Thursday afternoon.  Crews found and were able to contain a grease fire to the duct work. Crews vented the smoke and checked for extension.
The Wappinger’s Falls police assisted on the scene.
