RAMAPO – A 16-year-old girl sustained apparently minor injuries when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver at about 5:30 p.m. on Saddle River Road in Monsey on Monday.
Ramapo Police said the girl was standing on the side of the road with her mother when a dark color minivan lost control, possibly because of deteriorating weather conditions, and struck her. She was taken to the hospital.
The vehicle fled without stopping.
