TOWN OF ULSTER – Former Ulster Town Police Chief Anthony Cruise has undergone successful liver transplant surgery and is recuperating at home, a spokeswoman at Ulster Town Hall said Monday.
Cruise, 47, was diagnosed with bile duct cancer and retired from his job as a result late last year.
He recently underwent the transplant surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and has since returned home where he is doing well, the spokeswoman said.
