WESTFALL TOWNSHIP PA – Corning Gas Holding Company is acquiring Orange and Rockland Utility’s small subsidiary that serves adjacent territory in Pennsylvania.   The transfer of Pike County Light and Power should be completed by mid-year.
“We plan on making this a seamless transmission with no price change to the customers,” explained CGHC President and CEO Michael German, during a briefing in Milford.
Corning will be responsible for the 4,600 PCLP electric customers in the Matamoras-Westfall-Milford area and some 1,200 gas customers in Matamoras Borough and Westfall Township.
The territory is just across the Delaware River from Port Jervis.
