TOWN OF ULSTER – An Elizaville woman was charged with endangering the welfare of a child for leaving her two children unattended in a vehicle while she went inside the Hudson Valley Mall in the Town of Ulster early Thursday afternoon.
Town of Ulster Police arrested Rita Morey, 29, after she left her two small sons, ages five and one, alone in her car. They were found to be in good health.
The police contacted Ulster County Child Protective Services to further
investigate.
Morey must reappear in town court next month.
