Third suspect in Ellenville home invasion attack arrested

ELLENVILLE – Police arrested a third suspect wanted in connection with the January 7 home invasion armed robbery that occurred on Backman Avenue in the Village of Ellenville in which a man, woman and four children were held hostage.
The man was beaten and the victims were threatened before the robbers
fled.
This weekend, Ellenville Police in conjunction with the US Marshal’s
Service and Norwich City Police arrested Lonnie Taylor, also known as
Nailon or Rue, 34, of Ellenville.  He was charged with the same crimes
in connection with the incident and is in the Ulster County Jail in lieu
of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.
Earlier, police arrested Nickolas Torres, 22, of Ellenville, and Davonte Jones, 19, of Kingston. Both were charged with armed robbery, burglary, criminal use of a firearm, unlawful imprisonment and conspiracy, all as felonies. They were also charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
They are also in the Ulster County Jail.  Bail was set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond for Jones and $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond for Torres.
