GOSHEN – Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus still believes the county is in the running for a Legoland theme park after the Town of Haverstraw turned down the offer to build it there.  He said the issue now is to demonstrate to the company a site in which they will fall in love.
“Once they fall in love with a specific site, that next step will
be an option to buy on the piece of property, working with the local town
they might fall in love with, which would include getting the municipality
to have the infrastructure in place; the water, the sewer, the electricity,”
Neuhaus said.
The county exec said he has been in contact with company officials on a regular basis about locating a suitable site for the park in Orange County.
