Milton woman charged with stealing Oxycontin from assisted living center

WAPPINGER – A Milton woman has been charged with reckless endangerment and petit larceny for allegedly stealing prescription medication from the Avalon Assisted Living facility where she worked.
State Police allege that Goldeen Zachary, 34, stole the prescription drug Oxycontin from blister packaging and replaced the narcotic with another medication.
She was arrested on January 6 and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Wappinger Town Court next week.
