Meadow Hill School evacuated by bomb threat

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – The Meadow Hill School in the Town of Newburgh was evacuated Monday morning after it received a phone call with a report of a bomb threat.
All students were removed from the building and were transported to another evacuation site.
The call came in at 8:50 a.m. Newburgh Town Police enlisted the aid of K-9 bomb dogs from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the State Police and City of Newburgh Police to assist in the investigation.
At 11 a.m., the check of the school was complete. Nothing suspicious was located.
All after-school activities at Meadow Hill School were cancelled on Monday.
