NEW PALTZ – A New Paltz
man has been arrested by police on charges that he was selling marijuana
in New Paltz by advertising it on Craigslist.
Members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team, with the
assistance of New Paltz Police, investigated and arrested Nathaniel Wagner,
19, of New Paltz after he sold a quantity of the drug to undercover officers
on Main Street in New Paltz on January 2.
A later search of his home revealed additional evidence including three
ounces of marijuana, scales, packaging materials and over $1,700 in cash.
He was charged with felony criminal sale of marijuana and misdemeanor
criminal possession of marijuana and was released on an appearance ticket
returnable to town court.
