Port man arrested for menacing with a sword

PORT JERVIS – A Port Jervis man is in the Orange County Jail without bail after an incident in that city on December 26.  Police were called to 9 Jones Street for a report of a large disturbance involving weapons.
City Police arrested Kareem Valles, 40, after he allegedly menaced another
person with a sword.
He was charged with misdemeanor menacing and two counts of felony criminal
possession of a weapon.
