Lemm buried Wednesday, Sgt. Bonacasa to be remembered today

NEW YORK – Hundreds of fellow law enforcement officers gathered outside St. Patrick’s Cathedral in midtown Manhattan Wednesday to remember NYPD officer Joseph Lemm.  He was also a tech sergeant member of the Air National Guard at Stewart Air Base and was one of six guardsmen killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan last week. 
Staff Sgt. Louis Bonacasa, also killed in the same attack, will be remembered today at the F.S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base on Long Island.
Bonacasa, of Coram, will be eulogized by of the commander of the 105th
AW, Col. Timothy LaBarge. He presided over a similar ceremony for Lemm.
