Suspect in attempted Schenectady murder arrested on Thruway

RAMAPO – A Cohoes man wanted in connection with an attempted murder
in the City of Schenectady was arrested on the Thruway in the Town of
Ramapo Wednesday afternoon.

State Police said that around 12:44 p.m., they stopped a 2006 Hyundai
Elantra traveling southbound matching the description of a car driven
by the suspect in the Capital District case.

As a result, troopers took Christopher Cowen, 23, into custody without
incident.

State Police were assisted at the scene by Ramapo Town Police.
