F.S. GABRESKI AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE – Staff Sgt. Louis Bonacasa,
the second Stewart Guardsman killed in an Afghanistan attack last week
by a suicide bomber will be remembered tomorrow (Thursday) at the Westhampton
Beach’s 106th Rescue Wing. He was a member of the 105 Airlift Wing
at Stewart Airport in Newburgh.
Staff Sgt. Louis Bonacasa of Coram will be eulogized by of the commander
of the 105th AW, Vol. Timothy LaBarge.
He presided over a similar ceremony for Joseph Lemm, who was also killed.
They were among six US military personnel killed a week ago.
On Wednesday, a funeral service for Lemm was held in New York City.
