COXSACKIE – State Police
charged a New York City woman wwith drug and marijuana possession as well
as tampering with physical evidence following an incident in the visitors’
parking lot at the Coxsackie Correctional Facility.
A Department of Corrections K-9 unit observed Shedoris Ferrer, 28, acting suspiciously. A State Police K-9 was called to the scene to assist and alerted to the presence of drugs in a vehicle.
A quantity of synthetic marijuana, concentrated marijuana and a Taser were located in the car. Ferrer was also found to be concealing 14 grams of marijuana on her.
She was released after posting $1,000 cash bail.
