Frost Valley YMCA, Town of Denning to provide meals to local families in need

DENNING – Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville and the Town of Denning will partner in the preparation and distribution of frozen meals to families in need beginning in January.
The meals will be prepared in the Y’s state-of-the-art kitchen and work with volunteers to distribute them to Denning Town Hall where they may be picked up by families. They will be delivered on Wednesdays and deliveries to homes may be an option for those with transportation issues.
Officials of the town and Y decided to move forward with the program after the town conducted an online survey to determine how many people would be interested in receiving the meals.
