TOWN OF WALLKILL – A man is in the Orange County Jail after he was found in possession of a loaded 9 mm pistol and some marijuana.
State Police responded to a complaint of a domestic assault in the apartment rented by Jonathan Auston, 33, on Berkman Drive in the Town of Wallkill. When troopers took him into custody for the assault, they found the gun and pot.
Auston was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and unlawful possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $15,000 cash.
