ELLENVILLE – State Police at Ellenville arrested an Astoria, Queens man for collecting over $10,000 in state unemployment benefits to which he was not entitled.
Chris Halastras, 48, was charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records, both as felonies. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
